Manufacturer assembly evidence

Toyota's North America manufacturing list, dated May 8, 2026, identifies Camry Hybrid production at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky in the United States. Confirm the assembly location of your individual vehicle rather than extending this to every model year or market.

Check the exact vehicle

Enter the 17-character VIN and review NHTSA’s plant country, model year and gross vehicle weight rating. The model year is not the year you purchased the vehicle or the tax year in which you deduct interest.

Use the plant country, not the brand name

A VIN prefix identifies certain manufacturing information but is not a substitute for the reported final assembly plant. Blank or conflicting assembly data needs verification from the vehicle label or manufacturer.

Finish with the loan and tax checks

Even if assembly passes, a used purchase, a lease, a nonqualifying loan, or the income phaseout can prevent a deduction. This guide does not certify a model-wide list.
