VIN lookups
When you submit a VIN, it is sent to this site’s lookup service and forwarded to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) vPIC service. NHTSA receives the VIN to return vehicle details. Lookup responses are marked no-store; the application does not save VINs to a database.
Income and loan details
Filing status, income, dates, interest, and eligibility answers are processed in your browser. They are not sent with the VIN request. Calculator entries are not written to browser storage; refreshing clears them. VIN results remain in memory while you navigate between the tools, so you can continue without repeating a lookup. Refreshing clears those results too.
Hosting and external services
Cloudflare delivers the site and processes requests, including standard network information such as IP addresses. The VIN service uses the requesting IP address to limit excessive lookups; shared networks may share this limit. Application request logging is disabled in the deployment configuration. Infrastructure providers may process operational data under their own policies. NHTSA’s services and linked IRS pages have their own policies.
Cookies and tracking
This version includes no advertising, analytics trackers, accounts, or application cookies. Hosting security services may use their own mechanisms. Any future tracking or advertising should be reflected here before it is enabled.
